Beste Rave Rebellen
We hopen dat iedereen oké is tijdens deze vreemde tijden. We kunnen niet dansen en raven. We missen het vieren van het leven. We smachten naar gezamenlijke nachten.
De situatie waar we nu in moeten leven, de corona-crisis en haar lockdowns en de klimaatcrisis, is veroorzaakt door een giftig systeem. Een systeem van overproductie, overconsumptie wat leidt tot de uitbuiting van werkers en vernietiging van de natuur. Een systeem wat voortbouwt op eeuwenlang kolonialisme en hiërarchisch denken.
Om dit systeem zichtbaar te maken hebben wij een strijdlied gemaakt en een choreografie bedacht, zodat rebellen overal ter wereld in flashmob formatie hun liefde voor het leven en hun passie voor verandering kunnen uiten.

Vlak na oud&nieuw staat er een nieuwe Toxic System Rave flashmob op de planning, dus bereid je vast voor! Fix je outfit en doe deze zondag om 20:00 mee met onze ONLINE Toxic System Rave!! We nemen een uur de tijd om de choreografie door te nemen en daarna staat een rebelse DJ op het programma.
(De zoomlink zal later volgen).
De zoom-room zal ook gestreamd worden, dus trek je mooiste Toxic System outfit aan - laat je inspireren door onze Rave Rebels - decoreer je kamer alsof het een Rave is, sluit je laptop aan op een goed soundsystem en laten we samen op afstand het leven vieren!

Dear Raving Rebels
We hope everyone is okay during these strange times. We can't dance and rave. We miss celebrating life. We yearn for nights of togetherness.
The situation we now have to live in, the corona crisis and its lockdowns and the climate crisis, has been caused by a toxic system. A system of overproduction and overconsumption leading to the exploitation of workers and the destruction of nature. A system that builds on centuries of colonialism and hierarchical thinking.
To expose this toxic system we have created a battle song and a choreography so that rebels all over the world can express their love for life and their passion for change in flashmob formation.

Right after New Year's we're planning another Toxic System Rave flashmob. Get your outfit ready and join our ONLINE Toxic System Rave this Sunday at 20:00! We'll take an hour to go over the choreography and after that a rebellious DJ will be on the program.

The zoom-room will also be streamed, so put on your best Toxic System outfit - get inspired by our Rave Rebels - decorate your room like a Rave, connect your laptop to a good sound system and let's celebrate life together remotely!
